Class Description

In this class we will learn the basics of working with watercolor materials, practice a variety of watercolor techniques, and make several finished paintings. Each class will begin with practicing a new watercolor technique, and it will end with work on a finished watercolor painting.
Our projects will focus on abstract artworks, still lifes, portraits, landscapes, experimental collage, and more. We will try a variety of techniques, from experimental to traditional. Our projects will range from realistic to illustrative to abstract. This class is perfect for all levels of watercolorists, but we will focus on beginner and advanced beginner watercolor artists. There will be a little drawing instruction during the class, but some previous drawing experience will be helpful.
