Class Description

SMALL CLASS SIZE! In this introduction to Art Journaling, you will learn how to use creative prompts, with guidance from Heather, to build a beautiful, unique and personal journal page. You will also create a small, personal journal for further exploration. You will learn techniques but, more importantly, you will get a taste for how art journaling can be a deep, creative companion for your ideas, thoughts and visual expressions. It will help free your artistic spirit and provide a place to explore your creative identity.


Materials
All materials will be provided. A materials fee of $10 is payable to the instructor.


About the Instructor

Heather Neilson has pursued the study of art history and direct art making for the last 25 years. She has attended classes at the New York Art Students League and studied with several master artists. She received her B.A. in Communications from Rutgers University. She is a certified GOLDEN Arts Educator and teaches art workshops in her studio and throughout the region. Visit Heather's website.
