Class Description

SMALL CLASS SIZE! In this workshop, you will learn how to use the wet felting technique to create a fox figure to dress up your favorite wine bottle.
Also, a needle felting technique will be used to enhance the figure and add details.
Each participant will receive a kit with premeasured wool, two felting needles, and a felting pad to keep.

Materials
Materials will be provided. A materials fee of $15 is payable to the instructor.
Please bring two towels to class.

About the Instructor

Elena Gibson has been a practicing fiber artist and educator for over 15 years. Her work is represented by galleries in Connecticut and Massachusetts. As an experienced art teacher, Elena has run numerous workshops in CT and MA in a variety institutions including Farmington Valley Arts Center, West Hartford Art League, Mandell JCC and New England Felting Supply. Originally from Slovakia, Elena has a background in graphic design.
