Class Description

Discover the artistry behind exquisite flower arrangements, merging the enchantment of garden blooms with the untamed beauty of wildflowers. Learn the basic techniques of design, color theory, and flower preparation to bring out the full splendor of each blossom.

Materials
Please bring your own containers and pruners. Flowers will be provided but you're most welcome to incorporate your own garden flowers.

About the Instructor

Melissa Meredith is a professional printmaker/painter with a studio at the Farmington Valley Art Center in Avon, CT. She is represented in both private and corporate collections. She has exhibited extensively throughout the U.S. She has an MFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lives in Bloomfield, CT. She is also an avid gardener and botanist with the title Master Gardener to her name. All the plants used in the class are freshly cut from her garden.
