Class Description

SMALL CLASS SIZE! Learn the design principals used by professional decorators! This four session interactive workshop allows participants to discuss the components of successful residential interiors.
Session 1: Learn the fundamental elements involved in design. Explore space planning, measurement, and scale.
Session 2: Emphasis on the role of color, pattern, and texture.
Session 3: Style, trends, and historical influence are discussed.
Session 4: Complete your personal space by effective use of lighting and accessories.


About the Instructor

Donna Miller is a certified interior designer with twenty five years of upscale residential design experience. She has participated in BFA and MBA programs and museums nationally and continues to be active in the arts of the Farmington Valley. Her four session workshop and workbook highlight all of the major topics considered by professional interior designers that can be applied to home decorating projects.
