Class Description

Create greeting cards for your friends and family in our Lino Cut Holiday Workshop! You will learn how to use linocut carving tools to create your own relief surface to print from. Bring along any ideas you might have, or just come ready to be inspired to create. Students will be provided with all of the tools necessary to print their own set of white 5x7 cards ready for the holidays. If you have a specific color or type of card you’d like to print on, feel free to bring them with you.

Materials
Materials will be provided. A materials fee of $10 is payable to the instructor.

About the Instructor

Lindsay Behrens received her BFA from University of Connecticut in 2002. Lindsay works in a variety of mediums including painting, printmaking, illustration and design and does commission work. She can work figuratively as well as abstract, though in both areas she uses bold lines. Her paintings and illustrations display vivid colorful images with unique compositions.
