Amanda is an illustrator, and designer living in the hills of Connecticut. She is inspired by her lively New England backyard, with densely forested trees that are home to a variety of creatures.
Amanda received a degree in illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Living in Connecticut, Georgia, and the south of France, Amanda explored the natural diversity of the world and how human error can alter species and affect biodiversity.
She spends a great deal of her time researching and looking for reference photos or exploring the natural world to take her own pictures. She says she has more ideas than she can ever hope to bring to life on paper.
Her cards, prints, towels, and framed art are for sale in the Fisher Gift Gallery and in Amanda's studio 8B at the Farmington Valley Arts Center
