The Farmington Valley Arts Center is delighted to announce our 50th anniversary of “enriching lives through art” by making, learning, exhibiting and appreciating art. This milestone marks the passage of time that tells the rich history of our organization; from a cutting-edge safety fuse factory in the mid-1800’s, to a visionary developer’s plan of establishing an Arts Center in Avon, CT in the 1970’s, to where we are now.
As a nonprofit organization, our programs and classes cover some, but not all, of the running costs to maintain and improve our historic buildings. To do that, we need your support! Your donation will help us continue to grow our offerings, so we can stand strong as a cultural hub in Avon and make our dreams a reality.

The Farmington Valley Arts Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that fosters the highest level of human creativity and initiative. Thousands benefit from the FVAC’s comprehensive assortment of arts-related programs and opportunities each year. The FVAC relies on the support of members to sustain its long legacy. Annual membership contributions support Arts Center programs by providing essential operating income. Membership is active for 12 months and is non-refundable.
