Class Description

Create your own centerpiece for the holiday table or mantel! Using a beautiful assortment of fresh evergreens - including boxwoods, holly and southern magnolia - you’ll design a festive arrangement that reflects your personal style. Please bring your own container, ribbons, and decorations you'd like to use.

Materials
A $10 supply fee is payable to the instructor. Melissa will provide all the fresh greens, holly, southern magnolia, floral foam, wire, and shears. Please bring your own container and any additional embellishments and ribbons you'd like to incorporate into your arrangement.

About the Instructor

Melissa Meredith is a professional printmaker/painter with a studio at the Farmington Valley Art Center in Avon, CT. She is represented in both private and corporate collections. She has exhibited extensively throughout the U.S. She has an MFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lives in Bloomfield, CT. She is also an avid gardener and botanist with the title Master Gardener to her name. All the plants used in the class are freshly cut from her garden.
