Call for Entry
The Farmington Valley Arts Center is home to two exhibition spaces: the Drezner Gallery and the Fisher Gallery. Each gallery presents a new exhibition every month, featuring individual artists, member shows, and juried exhibitions. Throughout the year, we offer a variety of open calls—some juried, some non-juried, some free, and others with entry fees—inviting participation from our creative community.

March 2026 - Members Show
The March Members Show celebrates the work of our community supporters; artists, students, board members, staff, art appreciators, visitors, and more. Thank you for your loyalty and steadfast belief in our mission. It promises to be a diverse and dynamic exhibit so please join us!

April 2026 - Comic Relief
We invite artists to submit work for an exhibition celebrating humor in all its forms — witty, sarcastic, absurd, ironic, playful, and delightfully unexpected. Comic Relief explores how art can make us laugh, smirk, question, and see the world from a slightly off-center point of view.
2D and 3D works that incorporate humor, satire, exaggeration, parody, or visual punchlines are welcome. Whether subtle and dry or bold and outrageous, we encourage creative interpretations of the theme. All media are invited, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, printmaking, ceramics, and mixed media.

May 2026 - HANDLE & HOLD
The Farmington Valley Arts Center invites artists working in clay to submit functional ceramic cups, mugs, and drinking vessels for our first annual juried cup show in the Fisher Gallery.
