Call for Entry
The Farmington Valley Arts Center is home to two exhibition spaces: the Drezner Gallery and the Fisher Gallery. Each gallery presents a new exhibition every month, featuring individual artists, member shows, and juried exhibitions. Throughout the year, we offer a variety of open calls—some juried, some non-juried, some free, and others with entry fees—inviting participation from our creative community.

Ongoing Now
This summer, send us a postcard from wherever your travels lead. Create your own postcard, alter a found one, or choose one that captures your destination or staycation. We’re collecting postcards that share the stories of summer adventures, near and far.
Submitted postcards will be displayed in the gallery and featured on our social media channels, culminating in our September Community Call, “On the Road.” Please share a glimpse of your summer with us.

September 2026 - On the Road
We invite artists to submit work for On the Road, an exhibition celebrating travel, discovery, and a sense of place. From scenic landscapes and roadside views to the people, architecture, and cultures encountered along the journey, this exhibition explores the experiences that shape our understanding of the world.
We encourage diverse creative responses that capture the character and atmosphere of destinations near or far. All media are welcome, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, printmaking, ceramics, fiber art, and mixed media.
