Cultivating Mindfulness through Art Making

Every material has the potential to be a meditation. Every color choice opens a spectrum from chaos to calm. Every gesture, every breath serves to support the necessary empty moments within the artist, upon the art surface, and within the studio.
Meet yourself where you are.
Come with a beginners mind.
Discover the power of presence and creativity in this unique class that combines mindful practices with hands-on art experiences.
This class is designed for individuals of all skill levels who wish to explore self-awareness, reduce stress, and deepen the connection to the present moment through creative expression.
In each session, participants will engage in guided mindfulness exercises, such as breathwork, body scanning, and sensory awareness, to center the mind and open the senses. These practices set the foundation for intuitive art-making activities using various mediums, including but not limited to drawing, painting, clay, and mixed media. Emphasis is placed on the process rather than the finished product, encouraging personal exploration and self-expression without judgment.
