As a child, I spent a lot of time worrying about the world. I learned to channel that worry into action, through storytelling, project-based service work, and teaching young people

Carrie Firestone is a former New York City high school teacher and has published three young adult novels.

When Carrie isn't writing, you might find her reluctantly sharing her popcorn at the movies, trying to get people to do a conga line, or planning her next adventure. She lives in Connecticut with her husband, two daughters, and their dogs.
