Year End Appeal
As we reach the end of our 51st year, we are reminded of the many people who have who have been a part of our journey - artists, instructors, students, Board and staff members, visitors, and more. Without the community cheering us on from near and far, we would not have survived the many challenges that have come our way and celebrated the amazing accomplishments that we have enjoyed.
This year, we've been focused on making "art accessible to all" by creating free programs that take place in a fully accessible physical setting. Our newest offering is Creative Community Gatherings which meets monthly for conversation coupled with a variety of guided art projects. We provide a safe space for members of the Art with Heart group to discuss shared personal experiences while making art. November is a busy community month with First Saturday Open Studios, our 49th (!) Candlelight Holiday Stroll, and three lantern making workshops to celebrate Winter Solstice.
As a nonprofit organization, our classes and studio rentals cover some, but not all, of the costs to run community programming and keep our historic buildings in working order. Your donation will help us maintain and grow our offerings, so we can stand strong as a cultural hub in the Farmington Valley and make our dreams a reality!
With appreciation,
Helen Thomas, Board President
Carol Kaplan, Executive Director
