Class Description

SMALL CLASS SIZE! In this fun, fantasy workshop students will create their own clay fantasy gnome or elf. Students will use hand-building to sculpt and underglaze paint their own unique magical creature.

About the Instructor

Stefanie Baechler graduated from CCSU with a bachelor's degree in art education and English as a Second Language. She is now teaching art to K-12 students at the Waterbury Public School. During her college years, Stefanie started instructing youth classes and art adventure programs at the Farmington Valley Arts Center and has been doing so ever since. She loves working with pen and ink, as well as clay and watercolor.
