Class Description

SMALL CLASS SIZE! Join us on a chilly winter day to create a beautiful, warm clay luminary. In this workshop, students will learn how to hand-build and decorate a candle holder using kiln fired clay and underglazes. These luminaries will bring warmth and joy to anyone who uses them!

About the Instructor

Stefanie Baechler graduated from CCSU with a bachelor's degree in art education and English as a Second Language. She is now teaching art to K-12 students at the Waterbury Public School. During her college years, Stefanie started instructing youth classes and art adventure programs at the Farmington Valley Arts Center and has been doing so ever since. She loves working with pen and ink, as well as clay and watercolor.
